We are expanding our IT department and building a new position!  This person should have a strong sense of networking as well as a strong customer service drive.  The parameters of this job are likely to expand as we grow this position so patience and an open mind is a must.  A strong candidate will have curiosity, a proactive love of problem solving, and the desire to constantly learn.  We are always exploring and bringing in new technology. That prospect should genuinely excite you.

Essential Duties :

  • Provide desktop assistance in resolving software, hardware, and network related problems.
  • Assist in equipment set-up, software installation, and updates
  • Generate email and network accounts for new users
  • Configure computers for new users
  • Facilitate, monitor, and troubleshoot backups to tape
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network & local printers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working technical knowledge of Office365
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot desktop issues in both the Windows and Macintosh operating systems
  • Installs computer hardware and software applications (e.g. new computers, configuring operating systems, printers, copiers, etc.).
  • Good communication skills and people skills with a high level of patience
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
  • Capable of working as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to multitask
